I'm Samira, 22 from Sweden with parents that are afghans from Iran. I work remote with marketing at a startup, meaning I have little money but a lot of freedom. And I feel that I'll thrive so much more if I change my environment. I aim to become greater than my environment, but the goal is to have my environment make me greater as well.

I like: traveling ofc, nature (especially the ocean), reading, journaling, meditation, psychology, animals, music & dancing and gym. I'm a spiritual person as well.

I'm a social introvert. When I'm with you, I absorb you entirely and I'm a 100% there, listening attentively. I speak and hang out to connect, not to pass time. I do need some time to myself to journal, process my emotions and charge up my batteries. I can be a very all or nothing person and that can sometimes be exhausting, which is why I need alone time.

I also need to take time every day to work for a couple hours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love couchsurfing and think it is the best way to travel. And if we get along and you would be down to let me stay longer I would love that, and I could potentially offer some rent money.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music genres are R&B, jazz, soul, neo-soul, hiphop, pop and indie. I also listen to samba and some other random brazilian music.

My favorite series are comedies like Modern Family, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine Nine. I like reality shows and documentaries as well.

My favorite book is Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked solo for 8 months. My favorite country out of 20-something countries is Brazil.

Didn't study and found an alternative way of living.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to improve my spanish (level b1) and learn more portuguese (a1).

I can teach you about spirituality, about your mind (I have an interest in psychology), english, swedish and farsi if that is of your interest.

I also go to the gym a lot so I could help you with basic training, diet and health knowledge, especially for women and the hormonal cycle.

I may be young but I can teach you more things about yourself than any other 22 year old out there.
