About Me
Hi!
I just finished my BA in sociology and anthropology and am heading down to Australia to work and travel.. I love cooking and spending my days outside in the sun. On rainy days, I am either braving the rain and hiking, or am cuddled up inside with my dog watching movies.
I am an organizer for a community kitchen for seniors and isolated individuals, and a waitress at a local restaurant

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big reader with diverse interests from Kathy Reichs ' Bones' series, Without Blood by Alessandro Baricco to the Wizard of Oz by Frank L. Baum , and I have a huge love of Latin American Magical Realism- so works by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende.
My dream is to read and own the complete works by Michel Foucault.
Movies are just as wild in choice, Kill Bill, Blade Runner, Finding Nemo, Pride and Prejudice, Coraline...
Music I usually like something with a nice jazzy beat, but I am also a fan of disco and house. I love old school hip hop and when I need to focus, there's nothing like Bach or Chopin to help me concentrate.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Road Tripped across Canada twice in an old yet reliable van. It took us about a week to get across the country and even then we didn't get to visit northern Canada.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always open to learning new things, almost obsessively. Similarly, I have passion for teaching and sharing. If you want to take some simple french lessons I can help, but also if you wish, I can share my cooking talents and exercise my wine pairing skills.
