Hola! My name's Sam, hopefully I'll get the chance to meet you soon.

My girlfriend (Chloe) and I have just started travelling around South America on our round the world backpacking trip. After South America we hope to see most of South East Asia too.

We'd love to make new friends, and share new experiences with you. It'll be great to find out what it's like to live as a local in each country. We're also keen to brush up on our Spanish and Portuguese, and we'd love to help you with your English - which I've taught before whilst living in China.

Both of us have taken a break from our jobs in London. I am a primary school teacher and Chloe works in marketing. We've taken time out to see a bit more of the world, but when we return we'd love to host fellow travellers in London.

Because it's a fantastic way to really get under the skin of a city and away from the guidebooks. To make new friends and have genuine experiences.

Interests

We consider ourselves pretty outgoing and positive people... We love music festivals, cooking big hearty meals, hiking, trying local cuisine, blogging, travelling (obviously!), joking around, planning trips, theatre, cult films, and meeting interesting new people for a social buzz!

In our old house in London we have hosted friends from across Great Britain and abroad, and as Londoners of over 7 years we know the city really well and would love to share our tips with you!
