I've been on this site for many years now; the platform had had it's ups and downs, but I've met lifelong friends on this site, and I'm always up for meeting more.

Intereses

My bigger interests include bicycles, motorcycles, sailing, foosball, and electronic music (especially synthwave/electro/house) music. I also read books and watch movies and stuff. Yep.

Música, películas y libros

Solo-sailing adventure books really light my fire right now. Anything by Douglas Coupland and Kurt Vonnegut is usually gold. William Gibson crafts my favourite version of a potential science-fiction semi-dystopia. I also really enjoy fiction authors from the early half of the 20th century (Hemingway, Sherwood Anderson, John Steinbeck, Firefly was a pretty awesome show. Ghibli movies are sweet. I've watched a lot of anime in my time (Neon Genesis Evangelion and Full Metal Alchemist are some favourites) but haven't kept up with anything recent. Finn from Adventure Time is my spirit animal.

- Hitchhiked across Canada
and a few provinces in China
- Long-ish solo bicycle tours in my youth
- Lived on a sailboat in the San Fransisco Bay area for several months.
- Motorcycle touring is my real passion in life; I've ridden the majority of Canada on an old GS650G "Nausicaa", I've crossed the USA two and a half times on a CBR900RR "Marcelline", delivered medical marijuana in San Fransisco for 6 months on a Husqvarna SM610 "the Ol' Chainsaw", rode a Honda Win 110 "Kino" 7000km around South East Asia, and I'm currently touring Australia with my EC250 "Anselmo" attached to the back of my Ford Falcon Wagon "Falkor". Free beer for anyone who can guess the inspiration for 3 or more of those names.
