About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Korean life experiment (with subtitles please!)

ABOUT ME

I am actually studying to pass my licence as a football agent for players or coaches.
In Japan, I have been trying to put together a strong team of foreign players in order to help some of them get into the top leagues.
Unfortunately, or maybe for the best, I'll try to do this somewhere else.

One of the reason why I feel like staying in Asia, is also because I'd really like to be studying acupuncture seriously soon.
It has had such a positive effect on my "football injuries", and I feel today that it is the only way to correctly cure and remove back pain, sprain of the ankle, sciatica etc.

When studying at the University of Paris VIII my Major was filmmaking, so I am actually trying to put together a project that would allow foreigners to see much more korean films subtitled in english in the movies theaters of Seoul.

PHILOSOPHY

Set a foot where it is needed!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to stay in touch as much as I can with the kind people that have hosted me some day.

And I have donated "so little" to that site that I must admit, made me save quite a lot of money...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used Couchsurfing for the first time in order to travel around Korea and find a job in this country.
I went from Incheon city to Jeju Island and back to Seoul, passing by Daegu, Jinju, Gwangju, Wando, Daejeon, Suwon, Busan and Changwon...
I know work in Seoul and try to keep on using Couchsurfing (eventhough I find it much easier to sleep in a jjimjilbang) whenever I travel out of Seoul, because it is DEFINITELY the best way to make friends.
I have been offering a couch to many friends and friends of my friends in Japan. Way before using the couchsurfing.

The first and only person that used my couch so far, is a korean friend that hosted me last summer in Daegu.

Interests

Anything that is interesting

  • film making
  • cocktails
  • movies
  • traveling
  • soccer

Music, Movies, and Books

Yesterday I went to KOFA to see one of the best korean movie ever ;"Madame Freedom".
I wish that I'll one day have the time to finish the numerous books by Orhan Pamuk that I started, and I am currently listening to "The long gunman", probably the best "IDAHO" LP.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lost some of my best friends to find new ones.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french, spanish, english, football and a few cocktails.

I want to learn about acupuncture, the sooner the better.

I can share my opinion if you ask for it.
