About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have a long term goal of learning how to build a yacht, and travel the seas making the couch or deck available for surfing!

ABOUT ME

I love to cook. And love to eat. I do Enjoy a beer. Im usually very relaxed and easy going, but i also like to get the adrenaline pumping with thrill seekers activities every now and then! Want to own a yacht. Spanish blood sausage is great. Would exchange goods and services before money. Dancing's fun. I like Playing cards. Like learning new card games. Favorite thing to make in the kitchen is fresh pasta. The beach is up there with the best places in the world. Along with live music venues. Numbers not letters; maths not spelling.

PHILOSOPHY

Dont worry about it. Relax, have fun, and seak some thrills from time to time. When it gets quiet, put some music on, when you get hungry, make some food. When you get board, go and do something and talk to some one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've just joined, and am still learning about the site, but I think it fantastic. I will update this when I know more about how I can participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had one guy come and stay with me from Napoli. But not through the CS site. That's what inspired me to join, because it was such a pleasant experience. Excited about my first CS exchange.

Interests

Sausage making. Electronic music. Non-electronic music. Sailing. Cooling off at the beach. Learning more about a places history or politics or culture from someone from that place( I'm not so good at picking up the big old history books, much more interesting to have a discussion with someone). Fresh fruit juice? talking about interesting phenomenon's in physics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once caught a 5 meter salt water crocodile on a fishing rod, while fishing for barramundi in daly river, NT, Australia!

Also I camped in the sahara desert for 5 days with 2 close friends, a whole lot of stars to look at next to the fire and the sand dunes. Sheesha smoking guides: A cook who made some of the best bread iv had, cooking it in the sand that he burnt a fire in for a few hours. A driver who almost rolled the toyota down a 30 meter sand dune: when he got up the top of the face of the dune and turned the vehicle to head back down, he realised that the top heavy truck was going to tip! It was at that moment he stopped the sinking, unbalanced machine, and decided this was a good spot for me and my friends to get out and take some photos. He carefully maneuvered it back down the sand to meet us at the bottom, car in tact. Full respect for that guy, he could say he knew the desert like the back of his hand! A Truly magical experience

Teach, Learn, Share

i can cook, and do take pleasure out of passing on my knowledge in this field. omelette for breakfast? good old roast beef and veggies? show me where the market is and we can get busy. Hell, if you have a pasta roller i would be more than excited to make some fresh tortelloni, or ravioli!
I could teach a very basic level of spanish (i mean very basic), but would love to learn alot more ( i am all so living in spain now, so that should be easy!)
Can operate a 35mm film camera, and an enlarger in a dark room, I know this medium has pretty much died, but i do love it so much.
Can beat match records, and do love to mix vinyl.

Gardening i could pass on some info and learn some.
I have done little sailing, but would love to learn more.
I Always enjoy learning new recipes and cooking.
New ways to operate this crazy iphone device.
Any hands on handy man stuff.
