About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover our world, one place at a time!

ABOUT ME

I love to visit new places and meet new people. I'm very active, jogging alot, playing ultimate frisbee, golfing or playing ice hockey in the winter. I'm often taking road trips with friends to cottages or just discovering unknown places in Montreal, trying new restaurants, having a beer with friends or just going to the Jean Talon market to buy fresh food and cook nice meals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only hosted on CS until now but I love the experience. If I am available I like showing other CS'ers around Montreal, eating poutine, going on the Mont-Royal and the Jean Talon market in the summer and more! Can't wait to travel in Europe this summer with couchsurfing!

Interests

Discovering the world, food and cooking, learning about new cultures, having a drink with friends or with people I don't know, jogging, wandering around in a city I don't know

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago, a friend and I spent a week in La Havana, Cuba, staying with three generations of a cuban family in their home. It was a great experience and a great way to discover all the history of the country. Also, one of the member of the family was a musician who had played in the Montreal Jazz fest a couple years earlier! It really was an awesome week, from going to listen to a jazz band that included our host, spending a day with a canadian diplomat based in Cuba, learning about the young generation's opinion of the cuban regime talking to students of the University, going to a baseball game, and of course visiting the city!
