Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will participate by opening my home to surfers whenever I can, when I have a home to share, probably in the New Year in England or Wales, although spain is pretty tempting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed Five couches so far, they have all been great experiences. I am travelling with my friend Bess, and we have met some great People. In Porto we stayed with a Danish man named Bo, he was very generous, makes a great salad, and plays a mean clarionet. In Lisboa we stayed with 3 art students. Rita, Anita and Helena. They where lovely, creative girls. They really made our stay in Lisboa more than just a visit.
In Granada we stayed with Asif, a guy from Pakistan, by way of New York. He is a really nice, guy and has the best balcony in town. Eiven in Copehnahgen, what can you say about this guy. He is awesome, calm and friendly. We stayed a few days with him and then he went on trip to Syria, but he let us stay for two weeks. Hard to say thankyou for such generosity and trust!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies. I am ddicted to films and moving images, when it is hot outside, you probably will not find me down at the beach, but in a nice cool cinema. Some of my favourite movies are "withnail and I", "Mad Max", and "Holy Mountain". Directors I like are Kubrick, Werner Herzog, Paul Thomas Anderson...
Music. I like everything from Norweigan Death Metal to the Beach Boys. As someone famous said. "there are only two kinds of music. Good and Bad."
Books. I can allways read "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" right now I am reading "Gravitys Rainbow" by Thomas Pynchon. It is called the modern Ulysees. It's a dense read but it is full of amazing images.
And all hail Kurt Vonegut... that guy had such an insite into the absurdity of the human condition.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed an active volcano in Bolivia. Had to run away from a huge cloud of poison gas when i reached the top.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am good with computers, I can probably help you with that sort of thing.
