Hey there! My name's Sammy, I'm a student at Stanford University in California. I'm still deciding exactly what I'm going to study, but I'm really interested in economics, chemistry, and computer science. I love running, teaching, playing ukulele, spending time with my friends , and adventuring. My family is the most important thing in my life.

I'm originally from a small town in Maine (a couple hours north of Boston), and I love traveling because it helps me get a more worldly perspective that I want to bring back to my hometown.

I started off on Couchsurfer because I was living/working in London for a summer and traveling on the weekends, and Couchsurfer was a great way to meet awesome local people and get to know cool people in general.

I really loved the way Couchsurfer can bring people together, and plan to host people when I'm able to later on in life.

I've already had some awesome experiences couchsurfing and connecting with great people, and I'm so excited to keep doing it!

Music: I love a lot of types of music, but big fan of hip hop, bluegrass, and jazz.
Movie: My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption (it takes place close to my hometown!).
Books: My favorite book is the Power of One (although I love lots and lots of books!)
