Its all about perspective!

I like to do and try lots of things and am positive. I like to cook and you can count on me to be clean.
I find meaning in making memories, fixing things, and organizing. I believe that a situation can always be changed and there is much to learn from everything; it only takes a little change of perspective. I am always looking for new places to learn, whether in a new friend, travels, books, movies, class, or a job.

At the risk of sounding like my mother, I think there is something to be learned from every experience. So the more experiences the better!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couchsurf because I believe it democratizes travel. I believe that exploring ought to be about taking the time to find the none monetary value of those things close to home and far away. So, rather than spend money, I'd rather spend the time to really get to know a place!

兴趣

I was a senior history major (and loved it), but now I work mostly in media, sustainability, and doing activism work.

Of course I also love camping, cooking, cutting hair, hiking, tying knots, and building anything I can.

Sticky waterfall, might have blown my mind. A waterfall in Thailand where the calcium deposits make the rocks safe to clamber when wet, I spent hours there sitting in the middle of a waterfall in a hot day.

I can probably best teach photography and video, I am a TA for photo here (darkroom and digital). As well as video editing.
I love to help and everything I have learned is from other people!
If you want to build a darkroom I can totally help you out, it wayyy easier than it seems :)
