HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being creative, teaching / communicating, sharing meditation, offering support in any way I can -cooking, cleaning, fixing, banging ideas around, listening without judgement; dancing, being happy, asking questions, learning,

It is amazing when people truly meet each other, with open hearts and minds, and create joy, care,community and beauty. I offer myself to that process.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

AMA+ZING 1's! I met an awesome guy in Brisbane called Elan. He was from Korea and we hit it off and he invited me to meet up with him and his mates for a Korean bbq the next night. I went, it was a bbq: a korean one; and after a drive up to local mountain to see the city under lights he offered me HIS bed to sleep in.
I will always remember his kindness, openness and the connection that came out of that.
I've slept on about a half dozen sofas, floors and beds since then and shared my bed and floor in return and it's that micro-community of carers that we can all create through our hearts, minds, beliefs and actions that is why i love to surf - and what draws me to share this space with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Los Montanas de la colores setanas : The seven coloured mountains in northern Argentina on the way to Bolivia. 45mins on a bus driving through a valley, looking out and up at tree-less mountains, the rock naturally pigmented because of the minerals and revealing bands of colour -purple, red, orange, white, green. It blew my mind apart.

Hiking 8 days with blisters the size of golfballs on each foot through the wilds of Tasmania with nothing to eat but rice, rice porrige, some fruit, nuts, and a bottle of dijon mayonaise.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mindfulness, meditation, self acceptance and conflict judo.
I know how to be me!? -dancing, meditation, bodywork, fun, honest appraisal are my tools. I'm happy to share all that i've learnt along MY way to assist anyone else on THEIR way;
