A big hobby of Allen's and mine is cooking. Whether you are coming here or we are visiting you, we would love to make you a meal.
Allen and I are both interested in a wide variety of social issues, and would be glad to talk with you at length about ours and your differing world views.
Right now I am also very interested in ceramics.

Last December we backpacked around Syria without any real advance planning. It was an incredible cultural immersion with so many completely foreign sights, smells, and tastes around every corner. My best memories are of all of the incredibly friendly people we met who were always willing to invite us in for a cup of tea and conversation.
