About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dirtbike all over Europe/Africa/Asia.

“In the first place you can’t see anything from a car; you’ve got to get out of the goddamned contraption and walk, better yet crawl, on hands and knees, over the sandstone and through the thornbush and cactus. When traces of blood begin to mark your trail you’ll begin to see something, maybe. Probably not.” - Edward Abbey

ABOUT ME

I come from a big family (7 siblings and 2 super-parents) and a very small house; I'm good at sharing. I eat a lot and love to get out and explore. I'll converse about all sorts of things, physics, philosophy, aircraft, psychology, evolution, motorcycles.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we all share common desires. Nurture the good ones.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to get to know travelers at meetups and through surfing as I travel Europe, Asia, and Africa

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people and have surfed in Mendoza and Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've loved spending time with my generous hosts.

Interests

I love exploring nature and learning how to preserve it. I like caves, tall mountains, glaciers, really old trees, and bugs.
I have dusty camera I bring everywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock n roll, 70s and 80s
I can't read enough, so I read everything I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode buses from the Caribbean coast to Tiera del Fuego
Mountain biked from Durango to Moab USA (120 miles)
Built a motorcycle for a year on the road

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn and practice more Russian for eventual travel in Asia, and I can share my English speaking and writing skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've lived in Albuquerque for about 9 years and Colorado for 4 years. I'm familiar with the great things we have here. Mountain biking, skiing, restaurants, beer! I have a lot to offer if you're into any of those things or just want a place to crash for a while.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guyana, Panama, Peru, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
