ABOUT ME

I am 21 years old and presently a student in languages at Edouard Montpetit College. I am also a guitarist and my favorite music is classic.

PHILOSOPHY

In today's world deadlines are shorter, employees are managing themselves and technology is transforming the nature and pace of life. Throughout my educational path in college, I have experienced these changes and strongly believe that I have come up with tools to better understand today's fast-paced lifestyle. Throughout my lifetime I have met many people who have inspired me and made me want to achieve great things. I have gone through situations where the decisions I made have greatly influenced the way I have carried out my lifestyle. The secret of success is based upon how I influence others because our knowledge is too corrupted and influenced by society.Too many people, in this modern era, allow society to dictate how they live their lives. Society seems to influence all ages by poisoning our minds with lies and aggression. People all over try to act like different souls because of what we see on television, hear on the radio, and view in the movie theaters. Everyone tries to dress their whole life style just to be known like a certain movie star, or singer. In our society today, it is extremely important to pay attention to what influences us. One of the biggest influences America’s youth may have is the television or as I call it "the doom box". They see people doing things so they believe its okay for them to do. Anyway....

Obviously, it is now clear to me that the secret of success is to be a good salesman wherever and whenever. But there are many misconceptions about sales. A sale is about deception. Sales means being pushy. A sale is manipulation. And if you believe this, the first thing you need to do is rethink. Are you honest? Do you meet the requirements? Were you helpful in explaining things and offering alternatives? That’s what being a good salesman is all about.It is now evident to me that to succeed I must be an honest salesman. I must remind myself throughout the day that what I plan must be done in a relaxing way, mindfully watching to see if I'm tense and relax whenever the need presents.
