About Me

I was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. Having lived in one extremely diverse country for the first 20 years of my life, I took the first chance I could get to travel the world and learn more about it. I love travelling, meeting new people and learning about their cultures. Living in France for the last 8 months has taught me what it actually means to be truly independent. It was a bit difficult at first; the language, the food, the weather but I have come to absolutely love France ( a huge portion fo the credit goed to the delicious wines).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a student and travelling is a bit difficult, because you have such a strict budget. Couchsurfing offers a chance to visit a new place and enjoy it like a tourist and a local at the same time. But most imporatntly, it offers you a chance to meet locals and develop a deeper underatnding of the place you are visiting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in France!

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I learnt travelling to all these different countries is that in order to truly enjoy and love a place , you must let go of your inhibitions and be more tolerant and open-minded.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culinary skills by cooking authentic Indian cuisine and Italian dishes (learnt it from my Italian flatmates).
Last but not the least, I can share stories of my travels through the European continent and the Indian sub-continent (somewhat like Marco Polo).

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bhutan, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
