Hiya! My name is Sam Sam Chua. My friends normally call me Sam for ease of reference!

A brief introduction of mine, I was born and raised in Malaysia, a tropical, multicultural country with good food! I had the opportunity to study abroad in the UK, and eventually got a job and worked there for two years.

I have friends from a vast majority of diverse backgrounds, including South America, Caribbean islands, and Europe countries. I always find it fascinating how our culture has shared some similarities in some unexplainable ways!

I am kinda an individualist. I like solo traveling. I like sports. I like reading. I like cooking. I am really outgoing, sporty, and spontaneous. I like to talk to people from different background and listen to their side of their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing firstly:

I am taking a year out and I will be going to South America to exploreeee! I want to meet new groups of people that's as adventurous as I am. I am also hoping to meet some local people before I go there. Perhaps they can introduce me some 'Must See' and show me around the area. So I figure this platform is a good starting point. If we click, then we vibe~~

Secondly:
I am leaving in October. I would be more than happy to host someone if they need for good deed!

My all time favourite movie is Titanic. Maybe romance is part of my DNA (jokesss)

Books: I like spiritual reads. Must read is 'I maybe wrong' and 'Tuesday with Morrie'.
I especially like the line in 'Tuesday in Morrie'- if your culture is wrong, you have to be strong enough to change it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can list a lot. On the top of my list would be I left everything behind and moved to the UK on my own from Malaysia. I knew nobody there and I made it.

2nd: I went to Morocco on my own and sent myself to the ICU unit the second I landed!

3rd: I went to Germany on my own again! (so addictive) and drank days and nights hahah

I just like to do crazy shit honestly. No specific plans. Just follow the flow.
