I want to experience the joys and wonders of the planet earth and all that that entails. I want to swim in lagoons, dance in discotheques, eat awesome food, hike up mountains, and stay up all night!

I like many things. The sun being one of those. Light. Dark. the color spectrum.
I like riding bicycles. I like eating vegetarian foods.
i talk. Sometimes I ramble.
I was born and raised in Texas, the great Lone Star State (but don't hold that against me...!)
im awesome. the funniest guy i know.
i can't play pool. trust me on this. you dont want me on your team.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in an attempt to enjoy, enlighten, and challenge myself. eat. expend energy. attempt to appreciate the little things. see the funny side of things, even if they are a little unfortunate.
dance as much as possible. accept and appreciate everything. be incredibly silly. be super serious. look smart. play dumb. play it up. play!

by offering my couch up for those interested and hoping someone will do the same for me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple of people surf my couch before and I've surfed in Argentina, Chile as well as in the US (with some fellow americans) in Philadelphia, New York, and in Boston. Hung out with some fellow CSers at meetings abroad. I hope to have more enlightening and entertaining experiences in the future (with just as much dancing and silliness.)

i love books, especially "classic" literature (whatever that means.)
kurt vonnegut is a favorite.
i love music. i love music you can dance to. or think about. (I LOVE DEPRESSING SAD GUY MUSIC. AT LEAST I ADMIT IT?!?) the beatles, the kinks, bob dylan, joan baez, elliot smith, cat power, andrew bird, the knife, roxy music, the velvet underground, sonic youth, MIA, songs from the 90's that I know the words to, Fellini soundtracks, pop music, music from the discotheques i went to in Sudamerica, maybe all of it?
movies are good. sometimes. but no more documentaries, please...
in general, i avoid television. (unless i'm feeling lazy and apathetic.)
im a little weird about technology. i have an entire rant devoted to the evils of technology. (you can find it on my blog. heehaw.)

i feel like one can pretty much learn something from everyone even if there isn't much common ground.
i can teach you basic yoga, if you are interested.
i know a lot about random things, so should the topic come up i might tend to babble on about some things...
i can cook vegetarian and vegan food.
i like to learn things. teach me. i am relatively open minded.
i would like to share my time with you! (i mean, really, that is the most precious thing we all have, right?!>)
