Hi, my name is Sam and I'm currently backpacking around Europe and South America. I love staying in hostels to meet people but sometimes it's better to meet with locals and get to know the real culture behind the city/ town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately not much. During my time I the US I joined a friend and couch surfed once or twice. The experience was fantastic but I've always been cautious about doing it again.

Interests

I like to TRAVEL, hike, listen to music, watch film, play Australia Rules Football and eat plenty of food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At 21 I decided to move to the USA for a year, it was awesome fun and I needed up driving up and down the west coast of USA and Canada for 4 months, eventually clocking up 5000 miles on the odometer.

In 2013 I hiked Mount Everest base camp and a few months later I completed the Trans-Siberian railway from shanghai to St Petersburg.
