ABOUT ME

Quite briefly, for lack of a better word, my nationality is "Nomadic" I've just gotten Married and am arriving in christchurch hopefully to stay and work for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

About two years ago I spent a night for free at a five star hotel in London. The following week I ended up sleeping on a park bench in the rain in france... Well, The grass beside the park bench, we flipped for it and I lost. I hardly remember the night at the five star hotel because there's nothing to remember, nothing special happened. The night on the park bench however was one of the best nights of my life.

I've been couchsurfing and hosting for most of my life, usually without the help of the site though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I used the website was around the time I moved to Wellington, and it saved me having to sleep on the streets in the rain. I am looking forward to using it more on my travels.

Movies, music and books are the greatest conversation starter and ice-breaker in the world, I wouldn't want to waste it on here when I might be able to talk about these things in person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled for more or less my entire life. The period that sticks out though was travelling Europe and Morocco via hitchhiking and a converted overlander motorhome for a couple of years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really know where else to say this but figure it's an important thing to know to understand me. I strongly believe that it just as much my duty to shake the beliefs in others as it is for others to shake my own. There are beliefs in me that I would die for but I am prepared to question any of them. I strive to never disregard the beliefs of others just for being dissimilar to my own. I am never finished learning and neither are you.
