ABOUT ME

My life motto is "I did it because I'm fun"...sometimes it's more of an excuse, but it really just means I'm down to do anything at essentially anytime. Which is handy when people need an accomplice.
I'm very easygoing and go with the flow. (Good when the car randomly breaks down on a creepy country road and I don't freak out. Not so good when I'm supposed to look for a new apartment and "I feeeeeel like things will just work out.")
I don't like sitting at home and I'm not good at it. I'm on the brink of annoyingly optimistic and I'll strike up a conversation with anyone.
I may or may not cuss like a fu--...umm...a sailor. (Luckily the magazine I edit is all about college life so I can throw in the occasional theoretically-frowned-upon word. Shit.)
I'm vegan.
...and apparently I tend to ramble. There was no word count on this thaaang.

ANYTHING in ANY water --swimming, body surfing, snorkeling, frolicking (then again who DOESN'T love a good frolic?!)

Writing...in smart-ass fashion
Jumping off stuff

Playing with animals...and babies for roughly 15 minutes or until they start crying, whatever happens first

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I saw--and jumped off a big rock into/swam in--Lake Tahoe in California. Clear blue water, sandy white beach, green trees, purple mountains, blue sky. AMAZING.

Super recent, but last night I saw The Temper Trap live. Closest thing to a religious experience I've ever had--they're beyond amazing.

When I stepped off the plane alone in Paris to study and managed to direct my cab driver--who didn't speak English--to the apartment where I'd be living for 5 months. (Thought process: Holy SHIT--I guess I speak French. AWESOME.)

Greek islands...dear god.

Oh! And skydiving. I've already bought my next jump, just looking for a free weekend and an accomplice...
