I'm in the early stages of university right now (currently with no direction of study). I sing in and alt pop band in winnipeg called Paisley and currently play on one of two ultimate teams for the province of Manitoba.
In the warmer months I enjoy getting out into nature; thru-hiking, boating, kayaking, canoeing etc... as much as I can.
In the colder months in Winnipeg, I enjoy layering up and biking through the icy and windy conditions of Winnipeg winters.
I play indoor ultimate throughout the winter and play outdoors in the summer. If you're interested in playing during you're stay I'd likely be able to get you in for a game!
In the evenings I love chatting on just about any topic (especially about camping gear and tattoos :p) over a couple beers, tea or coffee (whatever you prefer)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

The only way to properly visit a country I believe is to hang out with locals. I'm not a fan of hanging out in resorts and hotels on the tourist track, I'd much rather go where the locals go to get the full experience of a countries culture and I'd love to share all the best winnipeg has to offer to visitors!
