I grew up in the South West of the UK, where I enjoyed walking in the Quantock and Blackdown Hills, with regular trips, due to family ties, to the North West coast of Scotland. I moved to Oxford to become a student there in 2015, and I enjoy exploring the city and surrounding countryside with friends. An interest in English literature, along with storytelling and written expression more generally, is pretty important for my degree, and alongside that I'm interested in philosophy and politics. Alongside reading and thinking about a lot of other people's work, I am also a writer of stories, poems, and journalism myself!
