About Me
Hi there! My name is Samuel and I'm from Lismore, NSW, Australia. I love playing guitar, eating delicious food and hanging out with my family of four (Wife and 2 dogs). I'm a Christian, Engineering Student, and Musician. I help out on the music team at church and I'm part of a couple of committees at my local university (Southern Cross University in Lismore). My wife and I are vegan. I work at a car dealership in my hometown which I really enjoy. I've been to Israel, Switzerland, and Uganda! I like making friends and being a helpful person in general.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My wife Amy and I are looking forward to meeting the locals of all the places we travel. What better way to do that than to couchsurf? I haven't been couchsurfing before but I believe that the best way to travel is to do it with the locals - we want to experience the rich culture of every place we visit and locals know their stuff!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of math rock, Hillsong, Bethel, indie electronic, indie rock when it comes to music; but I'll listen to just about anything! My favourite movies are: The Count of Monte Cristo, Hot Rod, Interstellar, and probably a couple of others. I also enjoy watching the tv shows Daredevil, Riverdale, Sherlock, Doctor Who and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I enjoy reading books that have to do with developing leadership and productivity skills, Christian books, fantasy and sci-fi books and the Bible!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I went over to Uganda with a couple of friends from school and we helped to build a fence at an orphanage! It was absolutely excellent and I'm proud of myself for doing it. It took us a couple of days but we built a lot of good relationships with the people and learned about their way of life.

I can cook great vegan food, and I have lots of stories of things I've done and what I've seen!
