Overview
About Me
Young professional from Chicago, IL. Love traveling, outdoors, athletics, animals, learning new things, and meeting interesting people. I studied Environmental Science Natural Resources and Energy Science in college so I am passionate about the environment, renewable energy, and generally being good to people and the Earth. I love hiking, camping, and creating. Currently building/ renovating my home without contractors and that is why I am unable to host at this time... but slowly making progress- it is definitely a learning experience!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and explore but rarely have a schedule that allows me to plan far in advance which makes hotel stays challenging and costly. I also like meeting local people and learning about the place from their first hand knowledge. I always learn far more this way and I feel it is a lot more realistic and informative than a tour or brochure.
