I love life. I have traveled to India and Haiti. I love meeting people with diverse cultures. I use to live in Jamaica Plain Boston but I have moved to Florida to care for aging parents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spend time in India at an HIV/AIDS orphanage and it changed my life. I make may friends and also in Haiti where I traveled after the earthquake. I am a deep passion and compassion for all people and want to meet as many diverse people as possible.

I love helping people change their lives. I love music, all types of food, dancing, reading the Sunday New York times and enjoying life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, Classical, Old School R&B. House. Basically all types of musical expression. I love all types of books but lean towards Faulkner. I love the art of conversation. I feel that is neglected. In some ways social media has brought use closer but less connected.

Traveled to Haiti several times since earthquake to build housing and conduct medical clinics.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to have engaging conversations with people of different languages and cultures. I want to learn, respect and honor the differences while look for the threads that bind us together. No matter what the culture or language. I also feel that laughter is the universal language. I want to share laughter with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I travel to Boston for court and other legal matters. I need a place to crash but in the meantime I hope to expand my horizons.
