Overview
About Me
Travelling to Granada, Seville and Sierra Nevada, Spain in February (5th to 12th). Looking to experience culinary delights, good wine, hiking, amazing views and interesting culture, particularly live music, art and Andalucia's amazing Moorish architecture.
I am open to learn from others' experiences, and to share my own.
To show a beautiful place that I am really familiar with, to others who are new to that place, is real magic for me - it re-awakens and brings a whole new appreciation of the familiar, through the experience of fresh eyes and ears. For me to be shown a place from the real perspective of a local or a native, is real magic!
I cook a variety of dishes from different cuisines - so at least if I have spare time, expect a meal or two !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To explore, share my experiences, and learn from the vast wealth of culture and experience encircling humanity. Instead of an insular system of hotels and tourism, I want to experience places and people as they really are, immerse myself in real lives, share experience and warmth, and embrace all the beauty in humanity throughout the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've just returned from an awesome little trip to Helsinki where I experienced an amazing Finnish smoke sauna before plunging into a frozen lake, repeated several times! Hiked in the silent forests with trees full of snow, and walked down the middle of the entire 8km length of a frozen lake.
