Hi! I come to Hawaii on a spiritual journey. I sat down for a good 30 minutes with as clear of a mind and soul as I could muster. My inner self, God, source, spirit, whatever you want to call it, told me to come to Hawaii. I was wondering how sure this voice was. The words, 'more certain than death' arose when I asked for further clarification.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to immerse myself in Hawaii and bond and understand the locals. Also, I'm not sure where I'd be staying if not on someone's couch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've managed to survive almost one semester of first year teaching at a low-income school in the city. It feels like I'm constantly running a marathon. I am so excited to have this week off for Thanksgiving.
