Overview
About Me
I’m Samuel, a Brazilian passionate about adventures, nature, and meeting interesting people, always ready to explore everything the Universe puts in my path.
My current adventure began with a humanitarian mission in Africa, and since then, I’ve been on the road for almost two years.
I’m new to the Couchsurfing community, but I’ve already had amazing experiences both hosting and being hosted using another profile I shared with a partner (which is why my references are under “Personal”). All of them were very positive and inspired me to keep going, and I’m loving being part of something so rich and meaningful.
I’m respectful of everything and everyone around me, always open to new experiences, meaningful conversations, and sincere exchanges. I believe being welcomed into someone’s space is an act of generosity, and I always try to give back with positive energy, a helping hand, good stories, shared meals, and plenty of laughter.
Nature is my favorite place. I love hiking, practicing sports, diving, caring for animals, exploring natural therapies, practicing yoga, and discovering the unique beauty of each place.
I also enjoy working on my spiritual side, keeping myself in constant learning, and sharing experiences that enrich the journey.
I’m a partner in an Accounting and Finance firm in Brazil and work online when necessary.
Currently, I’m based in Berlin, from where I’m exploring different places across Europe. At the end of September, I’ll begin the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
If you enjoy deep conversations, good laughs, spontaneous adventures, or simply chatting over coffee or a good beer, I’d love to meet you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because this is the kind of travel that feels real to me.
Couchsurfing opens doors to interesting people, stories, cultures, and unexpected moments that we don’t find anywhere else. I love the exchange of energy, ideas, and worldviews.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books and movies are an inseparable part of my development as a human being. I have been passionate about reading since a very young age, and I believe books have the power to transform lives. I love immersing myself in stories, learning from different perspectives, and reflecting on ideas that expand my worldview.
At the moment, I am reading *The Social Animal* (Elliot Aronson) and *The Magic Mountain* (Thomas Mann).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Resigning from a job at a large multinational company, where I had been for twelve years, to participate in a humanitarian mission in Africa and then travel around the world.
Living in Dahab, Egypt, and diving almost every day in the coral reefs, considered some of the most beautiful in the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my knowledge in martial arts, Brazilian culture, Portuguese language, woodworking, and cooking. I also love discussing spirituality, philosophy, politics, energy, self-awareness, and life experiences—and I’m always open to learning new things in return.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Welcoming company, deep and joyful conversations, homemade meals, life curiosities, company for a beer, respect, and presence.
I’m a good listener and a great adventure companion, always open to meaningful exchanges and happy to help in any way I can.
