ABOUT ME

I am tall, good-natured, funny (at least...people tend to laugh when I'm around...), and open-minded. I was infected at a young age with the travel bug, and have been all over the place on vacations, and I've also spent some extended time living abroad in a few cool places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in scenic Rochester, NY. Currently unable to host, but could meet for a coffee/bite/drink. Had a great first experience with CS a while ago, hoping to pay it forward at some point.

Interests

Languages of any kind, particularly Spanish and Italian, public health, cooking, eating, and ultimate frisbee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First time seeing Iguazu falls, Argentina; chilling in a café in Tunis during Eid al Fitr; and watching the Red Sox win the world series in 2004...to name a few.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach English, Spanish, Italian, how to change a tire, basic surveying techniques, how to play "Christmas Time is Here" by Vince Guaraldi on the piano, wheel-throwing ceramics.

I want to learn a LOT about different kinds of non-profit organizations in developing countries, how to cook good Vietnamese food, French, Portuguese, Amharic...
