I'm an Italian guy who likes to travel and discover new places. I was born and raised in Sardinia( south of Italy) but when I turned 18 I was kind of tired of living in the same place, so I tried the au pair experience in Bilbao for 3 months and I loved it. The next year, After finishing High School, I decided to move to Spain (Palma De Mallorca) as an au pair again and it has been amazing! I lived with a Spanish/Dominican family for 5 months and a half. After that, I decided to pursue my dream which was to move to the US and learn the American culture and mostly their way of doing business. And here I am, living in Connecticut as an au pair again having the best year of my life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To be completely honest, at the begging I was kind of skeptical but then, after traveling and experiencing to be an au pair I understood why a lot of people decide to Couchsurf: As humans being we experiment fear that sometimes blocks us to discover or do new things and that's when we are making a big mistake. We are not endless, as we were born we are going to die and fear is gonna make us die faster because, if we are scared of meeting and speaking with a stranger we won't be able to get out of our house because in this world we are not alone. 7.7 billion people live on this planet, and of course, we have different opinions and believes but it's that difference that helps you to grow up, to develop your brain and open your eyes to a new perspective, new cultures and new people. So why am I choosing to do it? Because I wanna meet and share my experience, my culture and my thoughts with others.

I like pop/hip hop music but-especially when I came back from Spain-I'm really into reggaeton. Actually, I listen to everything. My favorite movie is the "pursuit of happiness", I was 7 and I remember going to the movie theater with my mom and watching, It has been the best movie ever. My favorite book is called the Help which tells the story of maids during the '50s in the southern US.
