关于我
Hi! I’m a 34-year-old lawyer living in the vibrant city of Montreal, where I was born, raised, and still happily rooted. I’m relaxed, laid-back, and genuinely enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life.
Back in 2014, I traveled as a Couchsurfer and had amazing experiences that left a lasting impression. Now it’s my turn to give back to the community by hosting. I live in Vieux-Rosemont, one of Montreal’s coziest and most authentic neighborhoods, and I have a private spare bedroom with a queen-size bed ready for surfers.
I know Montreal like the back of my hand — from iconic landmarks to hidden gems you won’t find in a guidebook. Whether it’s the best local café, a tucked-away park, or a live music spot only locals know about, I’d love to share my city with you. I believe Couchsurfing is about more than just a place to stay — it’s about genuine connection, cultural exchange, and living life fully. Looking forward to the conversations and memories we’ll create.
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing reminded me, back in 2014 when I traveled through Europe, that people are generous, open, and curious — and that some of the best travel memories come from the people you meet, not the places you see.
Now that I have a spare room and a stable life in Montreal, I want to give back to the community that once welcomed me. I’m here to connect with travelers, exchange ideas, and share a slice of this beautiful city with people from around the world. Hosting is my way of continuing the spirit of adventure and openness, without needing to leave home.
兴趣
I’m interested in people, ideas, and moments that feel real and meaningful. I love good conversations — the kind that go from laughter to philosophy without warning.
I enjoy exploring cities, especially my own — Montreal is full of hidden gems, and I never get tired of discovering new corners, cafés, or quiet parks. I’m into music that stirs something, films that make you reflect, and books that shift your perspective.
Travel has always been important to me, not just for the places but for the connections. I also enjoy cooking, walking without a plan, and taking the time to notice small, beautiful things — like light through leaves or a well-timed Leonard Cohen lyric.

音乐、电影和书籍
I have broad tastes and love discovering new music, films, and books that spark emotion or thought.
Music: I gravitate toward poetic, timeless voices. Leonard Cohen and Jean Leloup are two Montreal icons I always return to — raw, lyrical, and deeply human. I also love the elegance and nostalgia of Frank Sinatra. Beyond that, my playlists wander from jazz to indie to whatever feels right in the moment.
Movies: I’m drawn to films that are visually rich and emotionally deep. Andrei Tarkovsky is my favorite director — his work is meditative, philosophical, and powerful. I also appreciate the visual precision and quirky storytelling of Wes Anderson. I’m less interested in fast plots and more into films that leave a lingering impression.
Books: The last book I read was Zorba the Greek — a beautiful reminder to live passionately, freely, and in the present. I enjoy books that explore life, philosophy, and human nature. Sapiens is another one I really enjoyed for its big-picture thinking and thought-provoking perspective on history.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
In 2014, I packed light, trusted the Couchsurfing spirit, and traveled solo across Europe using only the platform to find places to stay. I met strangers who quickly became friends, shared meals in cities I had never seen before, and experienced firsthand the power of trust, kindness, and human connection. That trip completely reshaped how I see the world and what it means to travel.
教,学,和分享
Teach: I can share what I know about Montreal — not just the famous spots, but also the lesser-known cafés, parks, and cultural corners that make this city special. I’m also happy to talk about law, if that’s of interest, or help with French or English conversation practice.
Learn: I’m always curious about how other people see the world. I’d love to learn about your culture, your way of life, the food you love, or even the music you listen to. Teach me how to cook something from your home country, or tell me a story I’ve never heard before.
Share: I can share my home, my time, and good conversation. If we connect over music, film, philosophy, or just a good laugh — even better. My goal is to make your stay in Montreal feel warm, comfortable, and memorable.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
When I travel, I bring openness, curiosity, and a relaxed attitude. I’m easy to get along with, respectful of people’s time and space, and always up for good conversation — or quiet if that’s what the moment calls for.
I’m happy to share stories, music, ideas, and meals. I can cook a simple dish, bring something from Montreal, or just help clean up after dinner. I love talking about travel, philosophy, film, and culture — or listening and learning about your world. If you’re interested, I can even share a bit about what life’s like as a lawyer in Canada.
Mostly, I try to be the kind of guest I’d want to host — thoughtful, friendly, and present.
