Overview
About Me
Easy-going, patient, and active; I am always interested in exploring new places and meeting new people. I grew up on a farm in a little town in the U.S. Received my degree in International Studies a year ago, and since then been working part-time, traveling, and otherwise enjoying my freedom!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Best way to meet new people and travel around affordably! I also appreciate the chance to see how locals actually live and interact in their communities, something that goes beyond what a hostel can offer.
Interests
Growing up on a farm, I enjoy being active outdoors. I enjoy hiking, swimming and just hanging out outdoors. I'm also always down to play some basketball, be that inside or outside. Having worked in restaurants, I also appreciate unique food and drink experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books
Indy/Alternative. Classic American R&B and Soul. Love to hear any kind of music live at festivals, concerts, or bars. Favorites include Alabama Shakes, Otis Redding, Amy Winehouse, The Black Keys, Frank Ocean, Kings of Leon, Norah Jones, and Michael Kiwanuka.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sat on an alligator, once.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you some basic French, or the proper way to shoot a basketball. I'm always excited to learn some local lingo and accents. I'd love to share my musical tastes or stories from the farm.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A unique perspective of the United States, as well as some insight into American politics, farming, sports, and culture (preferably over a beer or two!).
