I grew up on a big ranch in rural Oregon. I love to travel, study languages, cultures, and meet new people!

Although I do like seeing the cool tourist places, my priority always lies in seeing how people live and the amazing culture that they have wherever I go!

I can be a little shy at first but I generally open up pretty quick.

Rode an 18 hour bus through the Atacama desert once. Quite the adventure.

Climbed to 5100 meters on the Chimborazo volcano in Ecuador.

I'm not sure what this is about... but I once stayed with someone in Brazil that told me that everyone that stayed with her learned something and she learned something from them. I guess that's what couchsurfing is all about!
