I am a 28-year-old male born and raised in the Flemish city of Ghent, in Belgium. Apart from languages (and their history), I am fond of traditional (folk) music and folk dancing (Celtic, Scandinavian, Appalachian, etc.). I used to dance balfolk, tango, milonga, and occasionally lindy hop and salsa, but lately the time and money have been lacking. Countries/regions I would really like to visit, include Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, Iceland, Scandinavia, the US, Canada, Australia, Madagascar and Latin America. I would consider myself a quiet and calm person, who takes the time to get to know other people and places.
