Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying my best to travel the world for 7 months
ABOUT ME
Easy going, high energy, up for everything, trying to make the most out of everything.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't worry so much about the things you hope to accomplish, focus on becoming the person that you want to be. Chances are, that person is someone who will accomplish those things.
I believe that most people are capable of much more than they give themselves credit for, and that the primary factors holding us back are closed-mindedness and fear. So, I strive to learn from others and to give new ideas a chance, and to do the things which I'm afraid of.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far, as a surfer, as I just made this profile while traveling. But I would like to host once I am living in one place again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have just started CS, but so far my experience has been wonderful.
Interests
I've become strangely addicted to entering de facto states and conflict territories, like Transnistria, Nagorno-Karabakh, and Iraqi Kurdistan. In terms of my more normal interests, I like: live music, electronic music, anime and manga, hiking, climbing and other outdoor activities, history, culture, new friends in new countries, lively cities and beautiful nature, languages and animals.

Music, Movies, and Books
So many, so I'll limit myself to one each
Movie: Park Chan-wook's "Old Boy"
Music: Lupe Fiasco's "The Cool"
Books: Fyodor Dostoevsky's "The Brothers Karamazov"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love to travel off the beaten path. The Tien Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen, and riding Kyrgyz horses and sleeping in yurts with a Kyrgyz community was a blast.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you English and Russian, or the basics of Japanese or French. I've also studied philosophy and law, and participated on a debate team, so I can show you how to argue properly. I was a vocalist in a punk band for several years, so I could teach you how to write a punk rock song, or just how to yell really loud.
