ABOUT ME

I am 26 years old and, having graduated in september 2013, am looking to do some traveling before I plunge into professional life. I decided on going to Australia on a Work & Travel visa for an indeterminate period of time. The prospect of skipping a Belgian winter seemed like a pretty good idea. Now I am traveling through Spain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had very positive experiences couchsurfing through New Zealand last year. In time, when I get back home, I'm thinking I might become a respectable member of this community and do some hosting of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

The first writers that spring to mind are Bukowski, Hunter S Thompson or Paul Auster. But suffice it to say I'm mostly into 20th century bohemians. Musically I like Indie in the broad sense, with a slight prejudice toward lo-fi stuff. But I can enjoy anything from jazz to classical and the occasional underground hip hop tune.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009, I made a bicycle trip from Bruges to Stockholm, the memory of which I still cherish as the most significant three weeks of my life.
