Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I travel, I usually stay in hotels. But during a trip to Bali, I had the unexpected chance to stay with a local family — something I never planned.
That experience completely changed how I see travel. I realized how much I had been missing by staying in hotels. The warmth, care, and genuine connection I felt — sharing stories, learning their way of life, and simply spending time together — made it a truly special experience.
It showed me that travel is not just about places, but about people.
That’s why I’m on Couchsurfing. I enjoy meeting people in person, spending quality time, and building real connections. For me, making a new friend is the most valuable part of any journey.

Interests

I’m really into scuba diving, photography, and long drives — especially road trips where you can just explore freely. I also have an interest in agriculture and like learning how things grow and where food comes from.
Food is something I truly enjoy — both trying new cuisines and occasionally cooking simple dishes myself. In my free time, I watch Netflix and YouTube, and I also like learning a bit about psychology and human behavior.
