About Me
I am a globe trotter currently trying to plant some roots down. I've studied abroad 3 times across Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, and Australia (long stories). Since graduating, traveling has gotten less spontaneous and has become something that is more planned and cherished. The most important thing I've learned from getting to know so many different people from so many different cultures is that... we're all inherently the same. We all have families, eat food and share meals, and we all seek love. The intricate details of those are different but at the core, we are all the same. From living with a local family in Nepal to swapping stories with psychology students in India, I have found and felt connections all over the world. That is the beauty of traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now, I am potentially moving to Ann Arbor for my partner's graduate program and have never been there. I've never imagined myself in Michigan (especially coming from Florida). But now that it's a possibility, I think it would be best to learn about the town from a local and see the area before our big move.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Complete the 2 week trek to Everest Base Camp. I am NOT athletic and can barely finish day hikes so this was a huge accomplishment.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Swap stories about our travels and lots of pictures of cats and my dog
