Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'll be backpacking alone through the month of May in Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Nice, Cinque Terre, Venice, Florence, and Rome. I'm here to meet new friends - locals and travelers alike - and hopefully get the local's perspective on the best things to do and eat in each city. If anyone is free for an evening please let me know and we can go get dinner or drinks. I already booked my hostels in these cities so I will not be needing a couch. (But I really appreciate all the hospitality!)

Books: The Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, Harry Potter series. My favorite are memoirs.

I can teach you how to play piano and speak some Farsi. I can also teach you about Persian culture and how it's like living in the current dystopia of the USA. Don't become like us, Europe, you're far more educated!

I'd love to learn about all other cultures - languages, food, customs. I think the best remedy for a stereotype is exposure to the "other" that one fears most. I'd also like to learn some more French and Italian, and improve my intermediate-level Spanish.

My premature philosophy of 24: live non-judgmentally with an open ear for everything and everyone, because anything and anyone could be a learning opportunity.
Also would love to practice English or Spanish with anyone.
