I’m a social science researcher and a social activist broadly concerned with process of economic and political development of the Global South, and particularly of my homeland - Mongolia. My main areas of research is focused on, but not limited to - problems of late and uneven development, democratization in post-socialist countries, issues of extractivism, climate change, food security, debt, human rights and identity politics in the Global South. I’m inspired by collaborative, interdisciplinary research. My working experience includes areas such as security studies, election observation, publishing, and social work concerning education of underprivileged children.
