Short Update: I have moved to Heilbronn in Baden-Württemburg for a 6-month period, until July 2018. Until then, I can not host in Aachen, but you're welcome to share my couch in Heilbronn!
I am Sanchit, and I study Computer Science at RWTH, in the cute and wonderful spa town of Aachen. Aachen is quite popular among travellers especially because of its historical importance as the capital of the Roman Empire at some point in time. Apart from that, there's plenty on offer. A multi-cultural city (thanks to the universities), good food and bars and some unhindered and pristine natural beauty.
Something about me:
I am trained in Indian Classical Music, and have been learning it since I was 8 years old. I love performing on-stage, whenever I get an opportunity. My other hobbies include cooking and photography.
I am an avid traveller and hiker, and love visiting new places, exploring new cities, meeting new people. My opinion of an amazing travel experience would be, when I see the city through the eyes of a local. That would be the most immersive experience, and that is what I look for, on my journeys.
A new habit that I have recently developed is to explore a new city by going on a run. I love doing it, and would also love to have companions when I do so.
Do write to me if you're looking for a couch, or if you need company to go hiking, or general sightseeing in the Aachen area (i.e. Aachen, Köln, Liege, Maastricht area)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the best travel journeys and the most unforgettable moments are the ones you spend with people. The more you share, the more happiness you derive within yourself.
I am the kind of person who likes to share a part of myself with you, and in turn, longs to know more about you, your culture, and your life. I wish to meet lots of different people on my trips, and never spend a night without those spectacular late-night conversations.
I think CS has given me a rejuvenated view of life, and the ability to trust people, no matter what. That's the thing I love most about it.
