Hi everyone, my name is Sander.
I'm a friendly, curious and open minded specimen, right out of Belgium.

'About me'
I'm currently employed as a teacher. I teach 15-19 year old adolescents a course best translated to 'Morals'.
I really like my job. It's challenging, difficult and wonderfull. Especially when you can do something for someone in need. The students i work with have a lot of challenges. It's my job to help them overcome them.

'My Passion'
Music. Everything about it, i just love it. Playing, listening, writing, jamming,...
At this point i'm starting up a small company with a friend In which we write music for movies, commercials, radio stations,... Chiaran and i also have a couple of bands in witch we find our own way of telling our own little stories. We hope to combine these two and earn a living out of it in the future.

My current living situation is amazing. I live in a co-housing project with 9 other people. All are amazing artists, writers, painters, travelers,... I learn a lot from them. They quickly gained a special place within my life. They are breathtakingly amazing.

Also... FOOD.

Hmm, good food... I love cooking, but i'm still learning a lot. If I have the honor to stay with you, i'll probably want to cook for you as wel. Of course my cooking skills can vary, and i can not be held accountable for my future self... therefore, it's at your own risk ;). But hey, what's the worst that can happen?

Currently i'm in need for an adventure, a break out of current things, a new story. When i was younger i liked to experience the world. I was very eager to learn new things about the world, about people, about everything. They often called me a 'sponge' because i absorbed so many things. Unfortunately this urge to learn became numb by routine and stress.

I changed a lot of elements within my life over the last two months. The decision to go back traveling was made very quickly. I'm a little nervous about this decision, but I'm eager to go back on an adventure.

If it's good, i love it. I'm not a big reader, but i do listen to a lot of music.
The old stuff, the new stuff, the weird stuff, the beautiful stuff...

I grew up with Grunge, Metal, and later on Progressive/Death Metal, but now it's really everything. The Beatles, Melody Gardot, Steak Number Eight, Queens of the stone age, toto, The Ocean,...

Movies? Most of the time i like a challenging movie. 'Old boy', 'Fight Club' and 'Holy Motors' are by far my favourites. I just like the way it gets under you skin. It's weird and yet comforting... Amazing when art does that to you.

Guilty pleasure: 'Wall-E', 'The Avengers' and everything with Bruce Willis, Hobbits and Captain Jack Sparrow.
