I am an open-minded and easy going person. Trying new things helps me to understand the world. There is more in life than working, and we should experience this while we are still fit to do so. Older people often tell me that they worked too much and wished that they would've travelled more.

That's why I like to combine travelling and working. First I work some time to save money, so after that I can travel for some time. I did 3 big trips so far:

- In 2013 I travelled for 7 months in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.

- In 2016 I hitchhiked around Iceland and travelled around in Canada. In Seattle, USA, I bought a bicycle and I cycled along the Pacific Coast to La Paz in Mexico. The trip took 6 months.

- In 2017 I rode my bicycle from The North Cape in Norway back to my hometown Harlingen in The Netherlands in 3 months.

I believe in freedom. In my opinion everybody is allowed to live their life how they would like to, when not harming others and leaving everybody in its own worth. Live and let live.

I'm an outdoor person. The things I mostly do when outside are hiking, cycling, camping and running. I enjoy to learn about cultures. I appreciate art. I like good conversations with a cup of tea or a beer.

I'm obsessed with music. Especially from the Metal, Rock and Folk genres. I try to visit at least 1 gig/festival a month.

- I did the 134m Nevis bungy jump in Queenstown, New Zealand.

- I've completed running a full 42,2 km marathon.

- I've quit my job 3 times to travel the world.

- I've hitchhiked all around Iceland in 3 weeks.

- I've cycled from Seattle, WA, USA to La Paz in Mexico. Total distance 4500 km.

- I've cycled from The North Cape, Norway back to my home in Harlingen, The Netherlands. Total distance 6500 km.
