ABOUT ME

Born in Finland, moved to Sweden at the age of two. Has lived in Malmö/Lund ever since, except for a nine-month break when I lived and worked in Copenhagen with a friend. I had a few gap years working as a postman before moving on to university, in Lund. My major is in general linguistics and my minor is in French.
I'd describe myself as a happy, friendly, nerdy ambivert who enjoys both dancing until 5 am and spending the entire day alone with a book.
I love to travel even though I haven't had the time or money to do it as much as I want to! The biggest trip I've made was when I went to France in the summer of '10 to wwoof and couchsurf, meet new people and learn french. Lovely experience! I've also been to Kenya, Brazil and made a roadtrip in Canada and the US. In Europe, I've interrailed twice besides an abundance of shorter trips. I spend a few weeks every summer in South-Eastern Finland where my family lives - our cabin by a lake in the woods it's my favorite place on earth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done some couchsurfing in France, that's my experience so far. I still haven't hosted anybody except a girl who hosted me in Strasbourg and later came to see me, but it wasn't really official CS at that time. I'm eager to try hosting, but as I share a flat with four other people it's a bit hard at the moment.
