ABOUT ME

Dear all, my name is Ralf. I discovered couch surfing in 2011 when I traveled around the world for a year. I met lots of nice people back then. I'm still in touch with many of them, and some have visited me in Germany.
On paper, I'm not the youngest anymore, but I still feel young enough to enjoy life and discover new things. This includes my passion for traveling the world and meeting new people. Another passion of mine is Argentine tango, which I first encountered many years ago in Buenos Aires.
Professionally, I have been fortunate to have had some very exciting jobs in my life after graduating from university. After many years in management consulting (marketing & sales), I spent almost 15 years in various management positions in the food industry. Today, I am a partner in a multi-family office, which means I advise and network.
I am currently in Buenos Aires until the end of March 2026 and am looking forward to visiting old friends and making new ones! And, of course, I am enjoying not only the country and its people, but also the culture, the food, the wine, and the tango...
