About Me

Hello, Im Sandra
I love travel and experience new adventures. Iam in couchsurfing because we like the authentic closeness with the foreign culture, meet new people and know about different ways of live

While travelling I realized how people is happy on their own way with simple things like friends, nature, animals, and to truely know a country you must meet their people.

I traveled by workaway, i was as volunteer in 4 countries and I think is the most beatiful and real way to discover a culture when you have time to spend.

If you can host me, give me a recommendation about your place/country or you have time to hang out.
I will glad to you

In general, I like going out with surfers to fun places in the cheapest way, let me know if you have a plan in mind also if you need recomendations

**********There are some tips to enjoy Mexico city (I'm no longer living in CDMX, but these tips are useful)**********
To leave the airport
1. You can take the "Metrobus" (2dlls aprox)
2. Near to "Terminal 1" is the "Metro" (0.25 dlls)
3. You can use Uber, Cabify or Didi
it's cheaper than an airport Taxi

I recomend you some unsual places, outside the city and free like:
-Nevado de Toluca (near to Toluca)
-Paso de cortés (Iztaccíhuatl)
-Cerro del Tepozteco (Tepoztlan)
-La marquesa
-Bosque de Chapultepec (inside the city) dont take taxis outside of chapultepec, most of them are scammers
-Espacio Escultórico CU (inside the city)
-In Polanco, Chapultepec, Coyoacan lend bicycles totally free. Looking for "bicis gratis ciudad de méxico" in google for more details

If you like culture, these are some good and free museums:
-Museo Soumaya Carso
-Museo Nacional de la Acuarela (I love this)
-Museo de los ferrocarrileros
-Casa del Lago

If you want some fun and cheap places
-Universum CU
-Cineteca Nacional (amazing art cinema good for photos, free entrance to the building and some movies are free)

If you have hungry and you want eat mexican food, this places are good and cheap
-Casa de toño (ask for Pozole)
-El borrego Viudo
-El villamelón

If you feel sick (smomach or similar) looking for "farmacias similares" in Google maps. For $50 pesos a doctor can see you and give you a prescription.
