Overview
About Me
We are a couple from Germany and have embarked on our very first longer trip together at the end of May 2017: Work and travel in Canada! Since Tommy has just finished his PhD and Sandra her Bachelor's degree, we found this the perfect moment to do some travels together.
I (Sandra) and my sister Claudia have been on travels for a very long time (2010-2013), where we have done a lot of couchsurfing. If you are a bit insecure about whether or not to host Tommy and me since we only have a few references so far, please feel free to check this second profile of ours. You will also find a few references there about the two of us having done CS in the United States: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/cawlia/references
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way of getting to know a country is through the people that make it. Couchsurfing thus gives you an opportunity that hostels don't: You actually do become part of a country. This is why we value couchsurfing so much, because you will not meet even more backpackers who are just as foreign to a place as you are and who bunch up according to nationalities. Couchsurfing has been one of the best experiences we made on our previous travels and we don't ever want to miss it anymore.
Music, Movies, and Books
We both love music (70s, 80s, 90s, 00s - as long as there's a guitar in it, it's highly probable that we like it), read lots of books (anything really) and watch movies regularly. :)
Countries I’ve Visited
