About Me
Hi! I've just embarked on a doctorate, taking a slight change of path from my profession as a translator and interpreter. I love to learn new things, am not afraid of messing up (luckily) and while my job and studies consist of a lot of computer time, I love meeting people and seeing new places. I also love to get muddy, either traipsing across the countryside or up mountains and hope to get more into growing my own veg and learning about food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The nature of my job means that I can be quite mobile, and I like couchsurfing because it gives me an opportunity to meet interesting people who live in the places I visit, which I always feel is a different experience than just going and staying somewhere and seeing it from the outside. I also want to use couchsurfing to improve my French this summer!
