CURRENT MISSION

I am a big kid who loves to travel, meet new people and have new experiences. I'm playful, curious and ready to jump on a new adventure at the drop of the hat. With that said I am also responsible and work for myself.

ABOUT ME

I am currently in transition and moving soon so I will open my couch again once the move is complete. I renovate old houses and bring them back to life. I love seeing history come alive. There are always stories and mysteries in houses that have a history and I fancy myself somewhat of a detective LOL. I am an aerialist (circus stunts) or at least I try and love the feel of flying. I climb silk fabric, hang upside down from swings and flip over as often as possible. I'm really just a big kid at heart. I am active and incorporate movement into any travel I do. I teach at the local university and train therapists when I'm not doing construction.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is meant to be experienced and I have always wanted to LIVE with a capital L not just exist. I yearn for new experiences and want to wander my life away. I love the saying, "not all who wander are lost".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am just hosting but hope to travel in the future and try couch surfing from that perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a great experience so far and can't wait to host again. I'm just getting started but I will say that not long after I had signed up there just happened to be a get together at the Thai Temple while we were getting lunch and the people I met were fabulous. So warm and open and friendly.

Intereses

Yoga, Budhism, travel, travel, travel, meeting new people, learning always learning, discovering new cultures, making new friends, rescuing animals, sharing stories, talking about philosophy and spirituality, walking on the beach, hiking in the mountains, riding bikes down the waterway, trying new restaurants, playing board games with friends, laughing and playing.

I traveled to Bhutan and met the most amazing people and learned what it is like to live in a culture steeped in spiritualit. My heart was full the whole time.
