about us: Henning is 31 and Sandra is 25. We met at university and we've been together for 5 years. We really like to travel and discover new places. Right now we don't have much time and money for that, so we try to discover as many cool spots in Mannheim as possible.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A friend told us about Couchsurfing and her great experiences but so far we have only tried it once. When we went travelling before we used hotels or slept at a friends place. Most of the time hotels are very expensive and the experience isn't that great. That is the reason why we chose to try couchsurfing and as a bonus meet new people who really know the city they are living in.

兴趣

As mentioned before we really like discovering new places, this includes restaurants. We love trying different kinds of food. We love coffee, we love the preparation but also getting to know everything about it and learning new brewing techniques.
We also like to go to La Nuit Boheme which is a party celebrating the 1930s.
Besides that we like TV Shows, Movies, Music and Board games.
Henning really likes gaming and Sandra enjoys cooking and baking.

Our favorite kind of music is alternative, rock and indie. Henning also likes Metal which Sandra absolutely dislikes ;) She also likes catchy pop music.

Favorite Movies: e.g. Rocky Horror Picture Show. We like Thrillers, Horror movies, Crime movies, Sci-Fi, and whatever sounds interesting. (Sandra also likes chick flicks.)

Favorite TV Shows: Mad Men, Doctor Who, Sherlock, iZombie, White Collar, Chuck, The X-files, Supernatural, Bates Motel, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Modern Family, Penny Dreadful, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles...

Favorite Books: Sandra: Harry Potter, Fight Club, Before I go to sleep, Romance Novels, Crime/True Crime Stories, Fanfictions, Comics.
Henning: Game of Thrones, The Wheel of Time, The Ring World, BattleTech, (Sci-Fi or Fantasy in general).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We went to the 50th Anniversary Doctor Who Convention in London, England. It was an amazing experience. We went 'Sightseeing' without going to any of the tourist attractions. We had a great time and met really amazing people.
